About Alexander Goaltending |

Now in its 13th year, Alexander Goaltending continues
to improve and develop it’s program offerings to meet the
changing needs of the goaltending community.
With a commitment to bring the latest in skill
development to their students, they devote countless hours
to research and study of the latest professional teaching President John
Alexander brings over 17 years of experience to teaching
goaltending. For the past
6 seasons he worked as a goaltending
consultant to the Amherst Junior A Ramblers, and is a
personal consultant and trainer to several top-level
goaltenders and consultant to several Minor Hockey
Associations.
He is also goaltending consultant to Hockey New Brunswick
Male & Female High Performance programs as well as
goaltending coach to team Atlantic U18 Female program.
He is also head scout with Amherst. His previous
experiences include time spent as Goaltending Coach with the
University of Moncton Blue Eagles and every level of AAA in
Minor Hockey.
As a member of the Goaltending Consulting Group he
coaches at the GCG Prospects camp for Pro and University
goaltenders held annually in Manchester, New Hampshire.
As such, he has contact with some of the top goaltending coaches in
Canada and the US and communicates with them on a regular
basis. David Alexander is a graduate of Moncton Minor Hockey system, where he won Provincial and Atlantic championships and later moved on to a successful career in the OP|JHL where he played for 3 seasons. Currently, he is goaltending consultant to Hockey New Brunswick Male & Female High Performance programs and personal coach to Jake Allen, Team Canada U17 goaltender who won a Gold Medal in the U17 World Championship and most recently drafted into the NHL by the Saint Louis Blues. His previous experience includes 4 years with the MMAAA Fredericton Canadiens and goaltending consultant to St. Thomas Tommies (CIS). He, also coaches at the GCG Prospects camp for Pro and University goaltenders held annually in Manchester, New Hampshire. Currently, David is a volunteer Goaltending coach with the University of Maine Black Bears. |
